Arthur Wallace McGregor was a British missionary who served in Kenya from 1892 to 1927. He worked within the C.M.S., and his "influence with the Kikuyus was remarkable."[1]
During his time in Kenya, McGregor ran a school at Taveta (1895-6). He was the first to minister to the European congregation at Nairobi and founded the Weithega and Kahuhia missions in the early 1900s.
McGregor briefly left his missionary work in Kenya to fight in World War I. He was a Captain in the Royal Army Chaplain's Department.[2] It is unclear how long he was serving, as a journal entry records him serving in Kenya in 1918.[3]
